Our Story

Paint with Meg is a studio created as a community hub to help bring people together as well as a chance to escape the stresses of life and do something creative.
I have a BA Hons in fine art from the university of Chichester and will offer a range of workshops through the studio such as mum friendly painting groups, specialised materials workshops such as plaster, watercolour, collage, drawing, half term sessions for kids and seasonal crafts.

Half Term Sessions

We can’t all be a modern Picasso, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give Pencil Drawing a shot. All of our classes focus on the process, rather than the end result of art. Here, we consider that each piece of art created is an honest masterpiece. Call us today to find out more. Spaces are limited, so it’s best to act fast!

May half term

I am running two workshops over the may half term; the first a two day air drying clay workshop, make whatever you like on day 1 from pots to sculptures to keep sakes! Then on day 2 paint your creations with acrylic paint and take your master peices home.

27th May 2024: making the clay (choose your time between 11-3)

33th May 2024: painting the clay (choose your time between 11-3)

(£15pp includes both days and all materials.Pre-booking is reqired)

1st June 2024: Paint your own suncatcher (chooe your own time between 11-3)

(£5pp includes all materials. Pre-booking required. Other things to paint will also be available such as canvases, photoframes and keyrings. all on a pay per item basis CASH ONLY INSTORE.)

*You are responsible for your child during these sessions, I will be about the studio for help and support for those who want it but adults must stay with and be responsible for their child. Please wear old clothes or bring your own aprons, we are an art studio it’s bound to get messy !*

Party hire

Looking for something different to do for a birthday, baby shower or hen do ?

At paint with Meg we offer reasonably priced party packages which could include things such as an art workshop, decorations and party bags. all aspects can be tailored to suit your wants and needs so contact me for further information and quotes.

Bring Your Baby

Mondays 10-12

Wednesdays 10-12

Fridays 10-12

This session is aimed at adults who would like to paint in a bring your baby friendly environment. There are no age limits to this class and it will run as follows: 15 minutes on arrival to settle in at your easel, where you will find all the materials required for the class. We will then take 45 minutes painting before we take a break.

Once we return we will continue painting until the end of the session. Although we have an allocated break time I do urge you to take breaks as and when you would like, making it as comfortable for you and your young ones as is possible.
